What is discrimination?

Your sex, gender, race, religion, national origin, age, disability and other protected classes are usually never allowed to be a factor or motivation in the conditions or terms of your employment.

This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Hiring,
2. Firing,
3. Discipline,
4. Promotions,
5. Pay or benefits, or
6. Work schedule or assignments.

This is not a complete list.

Under Missouri law, employers are not allowed to engage in “unfair” conduct based on the protected class (sex, gender, race, religion, national origin, age, disability and other protected classes).
