Who is responsible?

Under Federal law:
(1) the employer;
(2) the discriminator (in limited circumstances);
(3) supervisors, managers, co-workers and third parties who contributed to the discrimination (in limited circumstances); and
(4) supervisors, managers, co-workers and third parties who allowed the discrimination to occur (in limited circumstances).

Under Missouri law:
(1) the employer;
(2) the discriminator;
(3) supervisors, managers, co-workers and third parties who contributed to the discrimination; and
(4) supervisors, managers, co-workers and third parties who allowed the discrimination to occur.

Others may be held accountable on a case-by-case basis.
